Merry and Bright Holiday Gifts: For the Carry Ins

Now that we have some great personal gifts covered, it is time to tackle those carry-ins! Below are 3 wonderful recipes that will have your colleagues, family members, ladies at church, neighbors, and anyone else you share them with wondering how you pull off being so awesome at life (especially at the holidays)!

Apple Cider

Apple Cider is so quick to make and it really is such a yummy treat (especially when its cold outside). To make it, all you need is:

6 cups of Apple Cider or Apple Juice
2 cups of Pineapple Juice
5 drops each of Clove Vitality, Cinnamon Bark Vitality, and Tangerine Vitality (get them cheap here!)

How to Make It:

Throw all of these into a pot and heat on medium until hot. Then, serve and enjoy. (Tip: You can also make this in a crock pot at a work gathering too!)

Herb Cheeseball Spread

A get together really isn’t complete without a cheeseball. Here’s what you need to make 2 of these (One for work, one for home!):

2 1/2 cups Sharp Cheddar or Colby Cheese (shredded and room temperature)
2 8-oz packages of Cream Cheese (softened)
2 Tbsp chopped, fresh chives
1 1/2 cups toasted pecan pieces
Marjoram Vitality, Sage Vitality and Black Pepper Vitality oils (get them cheap here!)

How to Make It:

Mix the cheese, cream cheese and chives together with a standard mixer. Once smooth, add the essential oils (use a toothpick to do this. Remember you can always add more, but you can never take it out and a little goes a LONG way. Literally, you will just dip the toothpick into the oil and swirl it into the mixture until you have the taste you desire).

Chill for 30 minutes. Remove and form into 2 cheeseballs. Roll the cheeseballs into the pecan pieces to coat the mixture and then return to the refrigerator to chill for 8+ more hours.

Serve with crackers or veggies.
